| THE NORTHEAST Chapter HELPS WITH NOMMA MEMBERSHIP DRIVE |
Uri Hofi Workshop — The Northeast Chapter of NOMMA is proud to announce
that Uri Hofi will initiate the Northeast Chapter's contribution to the national
membership drive with both hand hammering and power hammering demonstrations on
Saturday, October 14, at the Center for Metal Arts in Florida, New York. Hofi's
world class demonstration has been highly-renowned through out Central Europe,
China, Japan and the United States.
There will be limited seating and all guests are asked to RSVP by October 1st to 973-247-7603. Refreshments and a buffet will be provided courtesy of the Northeast Chapter. There will not be any charge for this event.
Due to the anticipated high number of attendees, we are requesting that companies limit their participation to two people. This event was designed to inspire local and not so local metalworkers into joining NOMMA. Please pass this information onto as many non-members as possible.
At this date, the start up time will be at 10am with the
demonstrations stretching to 3pm. So dress comfortably for an inspiring day
of blacksmithing.
