Chapter's innovative coordination with a Technical High School in northern New
Jersey to provide professional guidance and techniques to their students on a
volunteer teaching program.
Chapter meetings that include working and hands on demonstrations focusing on
forging steel and aluminum, copper repousse, welding and forming bronze,
powder coatings and many other concerns, availabilities and applications of
the metal working trades.

Brand
new for Fall 2006 is the greatly anticipated
METAL FINISHES MANUAL which is a collaboration between NOMMA and
NAAMM.
This manual is your "one stop source" for all information related to
architectural metal finishes. Classification designations and recommended
specifications are provided for all major alloys, including copper alloys,
stainless steel, and carbon steel (including iron). An additional section is
devoted to applied coatings. The 116-page edition features 19 tables, 16
illustrations, precautionary sections, safety tips, summaries, reference
sections, an extensive index, and much more. The book is ideal as a reference,
for training employees, and for facilitating communication with architects and
engineers.
